Hey everyone. I know it's been awhile, but here we go.

So I've been kinda crushing on this guy for awhile, who goes to my school. And no Moze, it is not Bird Boy, gawd. As you can tell from the title of this blog, his name is Matt.

Matt is. . .how do I describe such a boy? His hair was dirty blond, but he dyed it a lighter brown. He has short but scruffy hair, gray wire-rimmed glasses, and wears clothes that are simply one size too big. He's really good at soccer and Social Studies, and he's very witty. He's an independent, but supported John McCain because John McCain is pro-life. He's a little taller than I am, and pretty goofy.

We talk sometimes. We have English, Social Studies, and Music together. He'll sit near me and strike up a conversation, talking about anyone or anything. It's easy to make eye contact with him, which as you know girls, is very difficult for me. It's pretty easy to talk to him too.

So, today in Music Mrs. M was getting the high schoolers ready for the winter concert, so we had a Study Hall type thing in the auditorium, though no one was actually doing homework or listening to the high schoolers perform. So Matt was listening to his Sony mp3 player, and asked me if I wanted to listen. I was bored, so I said yes. He picked a new song, "I Wanna Love You" by Akon, and asked me if I knew who was playing. I said yes, and that it was Akon. He asked how I knew that. I said I saw it on the screen, but that I've also heard it on the radio.

During this, Kim kept yanking me back to talk to me, since she doesn't really care for Matt. And the reason is because she asked him out once or twice but he said no, that he wasn't interested. I know because I was the one who asked him out for her.

Anyway, then he played "Viva La Vida", which is one of my favorite songs at the moment. After the song had finished he asked me if I wanted to move to the back of the auditorium and listen to music there. I asked why, and he said because he wanted to get away from everyone else. Being the timid weirdo that I am, I was hesistant to go, but luckily Kim said that she would go with us, much to Matt's dislike. I wonder what he was thinking?

So anyway, we moved to the back of the auditorium, but we didn't listen to music. Instead we all talked and then Kim whispered to me that she wanted me to ask Matt out again for her. She went to go get Sam's iPod and told me to ask him. So I did. And he said, "Hell no".

When Kim got back we all talked some more, then Matt took his cell phone out. I asked if I could see his cell phone, and then he asked if he could see mine. So then I took my cell out of my purse and gave it to him, and he gave me his. I told him I was going to add my number in, but he didn't seem to care. I added mine in, and he goofed around on my phone, taking pictures of himself, looking through my contacts, and calling random people that were in other classes. I thought he was going to add himself to my contact list, but he didn't.

So yeah, that's what happened in Music.

I just, don't know. I mean, I like him, but I don't feel that same feeling that I get when I looked at Bird in sixth grade, that heart-skipping-a-beat rush of emotion. I remember how it felt, so refreshing and free. Don't question me, I know that I was in love with Bird. But I don't feel the same with Matt. I mean, it's not like I'm going to marry him or anything, it's just a middle school relationship, seriously. If it even gets to that point, of which I doubt.

And he's also on Academic Probation...which means he's either getting at least 2 D's or 1 F. And he's never on Honor Roll. But he's smart. He just doesn't try.

He's also been out with this girl named Ashley, who wears shirts that are so low cut you can practically see to her stomach. But that relationship ended because Ashley isn't allowed to date (ha) and I don't know if he's fully over it yet.

Ugh, falling in like is too complicated.

That's how the awesome breaks down. Here's how we work.

We are the failed fivenerdygirls. We failed when Lily got in a car accident (SHE IS OKAY, I SWEAR!!) and decided not to post for awhile to honor her. But Lily is back. But Emma got grounded from FiveNerdyGirls because of my birthday video, and Jamie got grounded for awhile too, so that sucked. And yeah. It was just a lot of obstacles and we figured that if we had an informal blog then things would be better.

So no one has posted yet!

This is pretty free lance, if you can tell. We still have to move some of our crap over. It's like moving into a new house. You need to rearrange things but still make sure everything is unpacked and stuff. So, we need:

*A playlist
*A poll, maybe?

Uhm...random fun widgets? Like our chat thing where readers can leave comments as well as us? That would be neat.
